考研定目标的时候尽量还是要结合自身实际情况与兴趣爱好。如果你一直没有下定决心要考哪所学校的研究生，不妨趁着寒假的这段时间多查找相关院校信息，了解自己感兴趣学校往年的报录比、分数线、录取人数等等相关信息。趁着寒假时间把目标定下来，新学期开始才会有前行的方向。
制定计划
在寒假期间让童鞋们还像平时一样每天都按部就班地学习是不太现实的，毕竟是过年嘛，每到年底就连最勤劳的快递小哥都放假了，没有课业干扰、学习压力的我们也会想让自己过个轻松的新年。
所以
在寒假期间你不必还是像平时一样每天都要坚持背几页的单词、看几页的专业课书，但是，一定要抽出时间将自己的学习计划完善一下。可能有的童鞋还没有找到一份适合自己的学习计划，也不知道怎样安排自己的学习，就是纯粹凭借着直接，感觉要背单词就买来单词书背单词，要看专业课书就买来专业课书复习，但是，没有详细的将这些任务合理分配。
而寒假则是你制定计划的最佳时期，如果在你的亲戚好友中有参加过考研的同辈哥哥或者姐姐，也可以多向他们请教，相信两个人的智慧要高于自己独自的摸索。
考研是个积累的过程，一日不看可能没什么感觉，但连续几日不读书，再继续一定会生疏，所以一定要保证过年前的复习时间。
最后
专业课要有所着重。相信大家都有一种感悟，放假回家带书，但咱们大部分人是怎么去的怎么回来。所以放假带一堆书回家就是个费力不讨好的过程。专业课的书很多，全带回去不可能完成，所以，带一两本最重要的，或是自己未完成的书，有所侧重，这样不会有太大心理压力，效率也会高一些。这个寒假利用起来，才会感到充实、有收获。

安排
开学季正是广大考生思索要不要考研或者已经着手准备考研的阶段，这个阶段会有很多容易出现的问题，而致使很多考生一头雾水的一个很重要原因是对考研流程一无所知，我们来大概总结一下，以免影响各位考生的复习进度。
1.确定具体的学校、专业，获得具体的考试信息
如果确定了要考研，确定了要报考的大致学校和专业范围后，要和学校联系，获得最新的招生信息，及时把握最新的学校里的动态，这样才会有针对性的复习。
2.先期准备2018年寒假时间。
获得了充足的专业课信息后，准备好完整的复习资料后，就该踏实的复习了，决定以后切忌再犹犹豫豫、瞻前顾后。复习中，一定要脚踏实地的坚持下去。这点在这儿就不多说了。
3.报名
报名时间一般在10月，这几年都是10-14号。在校生报名时由学校统一报名。在职人员报名一般在地市一级教委的高招办或者报考的学校，也可以异地报名，即因为出差等原因在外地报名和参加考试。
4.初试
初试一般在1、2月份的春节前1~2个星期。考试要持续2天，进行4门考试，每门考试3个小时，考试地点一般在地市一级教委高招办设立的考点，或者招生的高校，考生在报名时可以选择这两种考点。
5.复试
复试一般在3月下旬，过去一般是等额面试，现在基本上都已改成差额面试。每年都有一部分考生在复试中折戟，因此竞争非常残酷。这就要求考生朋友们要精心准备面试，关于复试要准备的内容和注意事项我们已经讲过很多，在这里就不再赘述。
6.调剂
如果复试成绩不理想或者没能顺利进入复试，那就要着手准备调剂了，这段时间要多关注相关院校专业的调剂信息，主动询问，并尽量多和报考单位的导师联系，实在不行就看有
无可能读自费和委培的方式。
7.录取
复试通过后，学校将发函到你的档案所在单位，将你的档案调往学校，审查没有重大问题后（主要是政治性问题），将会发放录取通知书，将你所有的关系，包括组织、户口、工资关系，转往学校，委培培养的学生除外。
