  在过去一年的英语教学中,作出如下几点总结. 高一新学期开始,可以通过摸底了解学生大致水平,及时给学生弥补初中的缺漏知识。可利用上半学期的时间从音标、词汇、语法、句型等方面系统复习。要尽快使学生适应高中英语教学,具体做法是:培养学生课前预习、课后复习的良好学习习惯;基本坚持用英语授课,要求并鼓励学生用英语思考问题、回答问题;根据高考要求,从高一年开始就需要培养学生的阅读能力,教会学生一些阅读技巧,养成良好的阅读习惯;另外,课后要多与学生接触,尽快和学生熟悉。高中英语教学要始终贯彻交际性原则,强化学生主体意识. “让游泳者到水中去。”这是交际语言教学理论的思想核心。语言学家毛鲁(KE Morrow)曾说过:“To learn it, do it.   进入高一的学生,刚开始可能会对英语学习充满热情和新鲜感,但在接触了一段时间后,他们会发现高中英语和初中英语完全不一样,进而导致他们将学习效果不好归咎初中的基础,也就慢慢的失去对英语学习的兴趣。针对这种状况,老师应及时的检查他们的学习效果,比如今天讲了知识点,明天上课一定会提问,这就要求学生当天一定要及时复习知识点,这样经过一个单元,学生会感觉有所成,学习的积极性也就不断提升。而且每次的单元测验,我会将成绩有进步的落后生的名字提出来及时表扬,让他们享受一下成功的欢乐及喜悦,有些落后生的头脑反应的慢点,一个简单的句型讲几遍还不理解,我会不厌其烦地再多讲几遍,切忌急躁,发怒。无数事实证明,落后生有消极性,也有积极性;有逆反心理,也有求知欲;有违反纪律的行为,也有守纪律的愿望。所以对学生不仅要关注他们的学习,更要关注他们的情感因素,一定要及时发现他们的优点,及时对他们进行赏识教育

  1.提高学生的阅读量大。阅读速度要求每分钟48.5个词以上。

  2让其训练的题材应多样化。包括日常生活、风俗习惯、人物传记、文化教育、社会、史地、科技、政治、经济等内容。不能只局限于某种题材。

  3体裁多样化。包括说明文、记叙文、议论文、应用文等 。

  4.让其了解阅读理解的主要题型 。

  5.掌握必要的阅读理解解题技巧。

  一般来说,对记叙文注意5w和1h;对描述文注意主要情节,对说明文或论证文要注意主旨句。

  另外,做阅读理解还要善于抓关键词语,如承接词and, besides, but, never, etc 。走进21世纪,社会对教师的素质要求更高,在今后的教育教学工作中,我将更严格要求自己,努力工作,发扬优点,改正缺点,开拓前进,为美好的明天贡献自己的力量。

  新课程目标是从语言技能、语言知识、情感态度、学习策略和文化意识这五个方面培养学生的综合语言运用能力。为了尽可能实现这一目标,我们认真学习了新课标,深入研究了新教材,在教学实践中积累了一些经验,汲取了一些教训,但还有许多困惑。首先,我们想谈谈这些经验和教训,与大家相互探讨。

  牛津版教材与原先的人教版的教材相比,有以下几个优势:

  1、 教学内容具有丰富性

  牛津版教材每个模块分为三个单元,而每个单元都有四到五篇阅读文章,题材涉及广泛,内容丰富多彩,信息量大,贴近学生生活,学生有共鸣之音,可充分调动学生的学习积极性。在利用这些文章时,有的可作为泛读材料,有的可作为精讲范文,但要注意是不要面面俱到地讲解语言点,要有选择性地精讲,学会发弃,采用“多、快、粗”的教学方式完成教学任务,教师的主要责任是让学生思考起来,不要包办替代,事事不放心,要懂得“抱西瓜,丢芝麻”的道理。

  2、教学手段具有灵活性

  牛津版教材为教师提供了一个展示个性和才能的良好平台。如:Welcome to the Unit这一版块,既对本单元内容进行了热身,又为培养学生的口头表达能力提供了契机,这就要教师提高教学的组织能力:可让学生事先准备,也可当场进行group discussion, 分小组发言,要创设条件让每个学生都能参与到课堂教学中来,对一些踊跃发言的学生,还要进行口头表扬或物质奖励,激发他们的积极性。对于Reading部分,教师可通过让学生参与pair work, group work, debate, role play等活动,激活学生的思维,利用小组竞赛等手段,增强学生参与课堂教学的主观能动性。课堂多边互动程度增高,课堂气氛变得更活跃,学生学习英语的积极性就会更加高涨。

  3、教学资源具有多渠道性

  由于牛津版教材内容的丰富性,教师可利用的教学资源就变得十分广泛和多样。如模块2第二单元的Welcome to the Unit中展示的四幅图,就为学生提供了广阔的想象和思维空间。教师就充分利用网络资源,让学生领略到非洲大草原的风光、澳大利亚迷人的海滩和海底世界、令人叹为观止的巴西热带雨林以及中国那一望无际、令人生畏的大戈壁滩。这大大丰富了课堂内容、增大了信息的输入量、激发了学生的学习兴趣、开阔了学生的视野、拓展了学生的思维方式。而且生生互动、师生互动,构建了和谐、愉快的课堂气氛,增强了课堂教学的效果。

  4、教学主体的学习具有探究性、合作性

  牛津版教材中编排的Task和Project两个版块,是以往教材所没有过的。这一变革重视了学生的个性差异和个性发展,重视了学生的探究学习能力和创新能力的培养。如在学完模块2第二单元中Project的阅读材料后,教师可把学生分成4人或6人一组,向他们布置一个长作业,要求每组设计一个 “A travel leaflet”,一周内完成。同学们在小组活动中充分展现了他们的个性才智和合作能力,有的设计整个版面,有的撰写文稿,有的进行美工创作,有的收集资料图片,分工有序,合作融洽。从交上来的作业,教师就会发现,学生的创造力是无限的,只要教师相信学生,愿意给他们提供机会,学生个个都是好样的。

  虽然牛津版教材给广大教师提供了去实现新课标的良好途径,但这套教材也有它的不足之处,教师在教学中还存着这样或那样的问题。具体表现为以下几个方面:

  1、词汇量偏大,学生在记忆掌握生词和词组时遇到的困难不少,教师难以掌控到位

  牛津版教材中每个模块有三个单元,模块1和模块2中每个单元后面的生词表中列出的生词和词组至少70个,模块3和模块4中的生词就增加为120到150个,加上没有列入生词表中的词和词组,有些单元的词和词组就将近200个,这对高一的学生来说显然是多了些。因此,教师检查词汇时总是感到头痛,学生难以招架。但我们通过反思认为,扩大词汇量也是新课标之一,只要教学方法得当,大部分学生是可以达到目标的。因此在单词教学中,除了让学生懂得拼读规则外,还要分阶段记忆和检查。在各段时间内要任务明确,检查到位,在学生遗忘之前就要巩固下来,根据记忆规律办事。

  2、每单元的生词和词组在该单元中出现缺少梯度,较混乱,教师不注意归类总结

  教材的编写过程中没有充分考虑到把本单元的生词和词组相对集中起来,没有很好地把它们巧妙地贯穿到课文中去,有相当一部分生词和词组在后面的练习中才可以找到,给人以散乱的感觉,增加了学生掌握生词和词组的难度。我们的做法是将这些词或词组中的重点在学完之后再罗列出来,供学生再度记忆。有些不常用或生僻词就不必过度地关注,学生只要知道意思就够了。

  3、有些单元中的Word power 和Task部分过于注重形式,可操作性和实用性不强,教师完全放弃不用

  尽管编者的出发点是很好的 ,也用心良苦,但在实际教学中表明,这两部分在教学中是难以做到位的,有的还缺少实用性.如:Task中所提出的要求有相当一部分脱离教学的实际情况,学生也不太熟悉,因此很难在教学中完成,一方面教学进度不允许,每个单元的容量很大,如果按照这一部分所布置的任务去做,那就不能按是完成教学任务,另一方面,缺少操作性,因为该部分所布置的任务适合小班教学,事实上,目前大部分中学每班的学生数都较多,这样就不可能使每个学生每次得到练习的机会,很显然,这与中学的实际情况是不相符的。但我们通过反思认为,这部分也不能完全放弃,Task这部分体现了新课标中提出的任务型教学的理念,是帮助学生提高综合运用语言能力的重要组成部分,我们可以有选择性加以运用。如模块4第三单元中的Task是要求学生能用英语对某一问题写出提案,探讨解决问题的方法,我们认为这个Task就很实用,可让循序渐进地的完成,作为一个长作业分小组合作来完成,相信学生是会做好的。

  4、每单元的Reading 和Project中所选的文章有些可读性不强,连贯性不够,教师在教学中很难处理和把握

  牛津版教材每单元至少选有两篇文章,有些文章的确很新也很地道,题材也多样,但其中有不少的短文不适合学生朗读和背诵,有好多是关于理论上的阐述,读起来不易上口,背诵起来就更难了,这样就不利于学生训练语音语调,也不利于培养语感。如:模块三第二单元中的Reading部分就很难让学生朗读或背诵,这与该教材的宗旨也是相饽的。教师在教学过程中常常感到很难处理,让学生去背这些文章似乎要求太高,不让他们去背又无法去培养他们的语感,真有些无所适从。如:模块四第三单元中Project部分就找到可让学生背诵的段落,这样势必造成教学中的有些任务常常不能保质保量完成。但是通过反思,我们也觉得,不必每篇文章都得精讲精学,新课标要求教师要有新的教材观,变“教”教材为“用”教材,教师有权对教材进行二度开发,可重组教学内容,可摒弃不适合学生的教学内容,自我开发新的教学资源。

  总之,在平时的教学中我们感受到课改对教师带来的挑战,也遇到了不少的问题,有些问题一直困扰着我们而不能及时解决,一方面可能跟我们的处理和应变能力有关,另一方面,我们也觉得是不是在教材的编写体制上作些合理的调整和改进,这样才能更有利于今后的英语教学。当然,更主要的是我们广大英语要面对现实,迎接挑战。我们要进一步学习新课标,研究新教材,确立新的教学理念,树立新的教师观、课程观、教材观、学生观、教学观、课堂观、方法观和学习观,把促进学生的全面发展和培养学生综合运用语言的能力作为教学工作的最终目标。在教学中我们还要不断发现问题,研究问题,进而解决问题,只有这样,我们才能在新课改的浪潮中,不断提升自己,促进自身发展,再度走向辉煌。

Wealth obtained through dishonest means does not bring happiness. Lottery winnings do not bring happiness. Gamble winnings do not bring happiness. To my mind, the secret to happiness lies in your successful work, in your contribution towards others' happiness and in your wealth you have earned through your own honest effort. If you obtain wealth through luck or dishonest means, you will know that it is ill earned money. If you get your money by taking advantage of others or by hurting others, you will not be happy with it. You will think you are a base person. Long-term happiness is based on honesty, productive work, contribution, and self-esteem. Happiness is not an end; it is a process. It is a continuous process of honest, productive work which makes a real contribution to others and makes you feel you are a useful, worthy person. As Dr. Wayne wrote, "There is no way to happiness. Happiness is the way." There is no use saying "Some day when I achieve these goals, when I get a car, build a house and own my own business, then I will be really happy." Life just does not work that way. If you wait for certain things to happen and depend on external circumstances of life to make you happy, you will always feel unfulfilled. Know that you are capable of accomplishing anything you want,and live your life with confidence. Anything can be achieved through focused, determined effort and self-confidence.
